My name is Evgeny Tarasenko. I'm a designer and art director. I'm interested in infographics, UI, data visualization, editorial design, branding, type design and illustration.

I boost products by data visualization
Assisted in restarting the information graphics department in the international media group Rossiya Segodnya (2020—2023). I was responsible for the sense of the projects and worked on optimizing production: I developed templates, instructions, helped designers and editorial teams to release infographics.
We managed to solve key problems: time, resources, quality. And we set up processes and increased production volumes for more than 10 brands. In the first year, we completed 450 projects, 1180 in 2021 and in 2022 there were already about 1400.
We used all the main types of infographics: diagrams, charts, maps and technical illustrations
Previously, I developed a style guide for RBC infographics and worked there from 2016 to 2020 as a lead designer. You can read more about that or watch my performance at the Design&Media event.
We adapted the graphics for different platforms: web, magazine, newspaper and television
In 2014, I founded the design studio Cluster. We specialized in all types of communication design. For example, we have developed visual concepts, print productions, and packaging for DIY electronics kit for Amperka Robots company.
I have worked independently with large companies like Yandex, Sberbank, Rostelecom, HeadHunter, and X5 Retail group. One of the recent projects is the interface for a metric tree at HeadHunter, which helps employees to look at the entire system from a bird's-eye view.
I like to learn and share knowledge
I like to learn something new and like to share knowledge. I also teach at the Higher School of Economics (on the subject of Data Visualization and Presentation) and at Netology (on the subject of Infographics and Graphic Design).
